About

Built for miles nobody sees.

The RECCE Boot is engineered around sustained movement, changing terrain, and long hours inside the boot. Instead of cushioning everything, it concentrates protection where the boot and foot interact most: heel, toe, footbed, and critical areas along the leg. The top-of-foot construction stays ultralight and highly vented to release heat and moisture.

Its fine-gauge reverse-plaited construction puts fine-gauge Merino toward the skin for an exceptionally soft next-to-foot feel, excellent breathability, and significantly less perceived bulk than a traditional full-cushion boot sock. The RECCE sits in Class 1: selective coverage with minimal bulk. It is a boot-height platform with cushioning through the heel, toe, and footbed plus protection at critical strike areas.

Protection where it matters. Airflow where it doesn't.

Care

Machine wash your socks inside out on a gentle or wool cycle in cold water (30°C / 85°F or below), using a mild pH-neutral detergent or a dedicated wool wash. To hand wash, soak them for 10 to 15 minutes in cool water with a small amount of mild detergent, gently squeeze the suds through, and rinse in cool water without wringing or twisting.

Skip the fabric softener, since it coats the merino fibers and strips their natural moisture-wicking and odor resistance. Chlorine bleach permanently damages the wool and breaks down the spandex, and hot water will shrink and felt the knit.

Lay the socks flat on a towel to air dry, as hanging them wet can stretch them out of shape. If the care label allows tumble drying, use the lowest heat or air-fluff setting, though repeated heat will wear down the spandex over time.
